The popular long-range firearms manufacturer Gunwerks is adding an exciting new product line to their portfolio. After two years of research and development, they’ve announced a run of hunting suppressors to complement their rifles.
Gunwerks is launching with two models that will be available and shipping in March. The first two suppressors are the 6ix and the 8ight, both are multi-caliber cans with bore reducers for improved sound reduction across a variety of calibers. Each suppressor comes with a single aperture of the customer’s choice with others being available for purchase (.22, 6mm, 6.5mm, 7mm, and .30 cal).
Aptly named, these suppressors are coined after their length. Made of stainless steel, the tubeless, welded design is made to be low-drag for less hangups on brush or removing from a scabbard.
To combat the problem of stuck fittings or cans, Gunwerks has outfitted their line with tapered threads to align the suppressor and barrel thread correctly every time. This also acts as a gas seal to prevent the threads from getting compromised by debris or carbon.
The suppressors also have wrench flats machined into the suppressor for a mechanical assist when needed. The bore reducers and mounts are designed for easy installation and removal with a simple hex key.

The MSRP on the 6ix and 8ight are $849 and $899, respectively. Down the line Gunwerks plans to extend the series with additional bore reducers and other front cap accessories.
